CincyTech leads $1.7 million round for local startup

Supplier diversity platform ConnXus announced Tuesday that it had secured a nearly $1.7 million seed round.
The round was lead by local early-stage tech investor CincyTech and joined by New York-based Serios Change LP, STAR Angel Network and several individual angel investors.
The startup was also awarded a $500,000 loan from JobsOhio’s Innovation Ohio Loan Fund.
ConnXus uses its platform to connect minority- and women-owned suppliers to large companies. Its customers include McDonald’s Corp., Coca Cola, Harley-Davidson and Caesars Entertainment.
