BioInnovation Institute joins with Cleveland firm for product development

The Austen BioInnovation Institute in Akron on Monday announced a new partnership with Nottingham Spirk, a Cleveland-based firm that assists companies with research and development of new products.

The BioInnovation Institute has been actively seeking new partners and opportunities to generate revenue, particularly after two of its founders — Akron General Health System and the Northeast Ohio Medical University — recently opted to no longer continue as partners.
