With the top spot in hand for a local business competition, start-up Nutritional Medicinals LLC/Functional Formularies near Dayton, Ohio, wants to take its product to the next level.
The start-up, which was announced this week as the first-place winner in University of Dayton’s Business Plan Competition and is a winner in the DBJ’s Innovation Index Awards for 2014, plans to offer $1.5 million in common stock as part of plans to grow, as well as hire on more to its current staff of two, said founder Robin Gentry McGee. The venture makes feeding tube formulas with organic, whole food ingredients.
