On April 16, we blogged about Juiceboxx, Inc., a company founded by Ohio State students. The Juiceboxx team won first place in the Ohio State Business Plan Competition. (Disclosure: Several TechColumbus folks coach and mentor students for this competition.)
The company’s first product is a stylish case for your MacBook charger that protects the power cord from fraying. The product was designed by Lucas Williamson and Scott Scherpenberg, founders of the company.
Juiceboxx began a Kickstarter campaign in April; When we blogged it, the company had just reached $10,000 toward its $25,000 goal. That was 13 days ago. Last night, Juiceboxx announced that they had reached 101 percent their goal, raising $25,659 from 680 backers.
