Cincinnati, Ohio provides you with a top-notch ecosystem in which to start a business. This city is home to a booming startup culture, full of many resources to help you grow. Cincinnati contains several startup incubators and accelerators, such as The Brandery, UpTech in Northern Kentucky, Cintrifuse, Launch Factory, and more. In addition, The Greater Cincinnati Venture Association (GCVA) connects startups with funders who are committed to the growth of small businesses in Cincinnati. Last week, an article in the Cincinnati Business Courier mentioned, “A national small business advocacy group says Ohio ranks among the top 10 for its tax code’s friendliness toward business.” (Andy Brownfield, Cincinnati Business Courier). Last month, an article in Forbes by George Deeb declared there is no reason the Midwest can’t turn into a prospering epicenter for technological innovation, competing with Silicon Valley. I can’t help but agree.
