HealthSpot forms joint venture with Cleveland Clinic, gets foot in door at Kaiser Permanente

HealthSpot Inc. and the Cleveland Clinic said Tuesday they will form a jointly owned company to develop more telemedicine options alongside HealthSpot’s enclosed kiosks.

The health system started a test of three HealthSpot stations in family health centers last year and will deploy more, but said the number and locations are yet to be determined – but they could include universities, companies and stores. HealthSpot does not disclose the prices for its stations.
