A $2.5 million federal grant will enable a scientist at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center to pursue what he’s calling a revolutionary approach to developing a vaccine to prevent HIV infection.
Stephen Waggoner, a researcher in the Center for Autoimmune Genomics and Etiology within the Division of Rheumatology at Cincinnati Children’s, is overseeing a project that will receive $500,000 annually for five years.
