Zapis Capital Group has invested a few hundred thousand dollars in a local software company that is helping several sports teams, including the Phoenix Suns of the National Basketball Association, manage their group ticket sales.
Groupmatics has big aspirations. The Westlake-based startup company also is in the process of finalizing a contract with the Kansas City Royals, which could help the business land deals with other Major League Baseball teams.
