Grants could bring Cincinnati Children’s research projects to market

After a review by an advisory board of venture capitalists and economic development experts, four medical research projects that could have commercial applications have been awarded $200,000 apiece by Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
The hospital’s third-annual Innovation Fund awards will provide early stage bridge funding so researchers at Cincinnati Children’s can further develop technologies until they are ready for commercialization via licensing or a startup company.
