Kent State University at Tuscarawas unveiled the Tolloty Technology Incubator during an invite-only event Tuesday. Officials acknowledged the 27,000-square-foot facility, located at the entrance of the Tuscarawas Regional Technology Park adjacent to the New Philadelphia campus, didn’t happen overnight.
In fact, the new, $5.4-million building that will serve as a start-up space for IT companies, and companies involved in research and laboratory development processes, was more than 10 years in the making.
