Children’s gets $3M for startup work

Biomedical innovations under way at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center are getting a big boost with a new $3 million grant from Ohio’s Third Frontier program.

The three-year grant will be matched with an additional $3 million from Cincinnati Children’s to form the Tomorrow Fund III. The $6 million fund will be invested in new technologies under development at Children’s that could be used to create startup companies.
