A company making advanced batteries is considering a move to one of three Dayton suburbs.
Xerion Advanced Battery Corp., based in Westminster, Colo., is evaluating moving its operations to this area in preparation to spin up a manufacturing business to commercialize a new battery technology. Its 14 employees — spread between a lab space in Champaign, Ill. and the headquarters — will consolidate to a new site and begin manufacturing over the next few years and plans to employ 52 once it’s done that.
