Ohio University shows off its 3D printer

Ohio University has something new to brag about – the largest and most sophisticated 3D printer they’ve acquired to date – and Tuesday night, the public got another chance to see it in action at the Innovation Center’s monthly open house for the machine.
The printer, an Objet350 Connex from Stratasys, has eight print heads to create objects from a wide variety of materials.
Perfect for prototypes for engineering and art students, the primary reason to use the printer is its speed.
