Bob McDonald, the retired chief executive of Procter & Gamble, sat across from Wendy Lea at the 21c Museum Hotel on June 26 and made his pitch.
Lea, the executive chairman of San Francisco-based Get Satisfaction, was in town to participate in the Rise of the Rest event celebrating Midwestern startups.
McDonald, who was also part of the event, wanted Lea to become the next chief executive of Cintrifuse, the business-led organization to support high potential startups and entrepreneurs working to build jobs-creating companies.
