Venture capital climate in Ohio looking up

With three investments in quick succession, Dayton’s newest venture capital fund is well underway.

And how quickly it’s been able to find good companies to grow — and partners in investment — is a good sign for the region, experts say.

“We’re seeing an uptick in the private investments,” said Accelerant fund manager and Dayton Development Coalition Vice President of Entrepreneurial Development Joel Ivers. “It’s a good sign that capital is becoming more available for the companies that have potential to grow.”
