On March 16 at 1:40 p.m., Brad Owen got a really bad email that led to something really good. It was from Amazon. They weren’t going to let his digital marketing company — Creavos — send any more email. Why? More than half of his emails were bouncing. And a “critically high” percentage were going into people’s junk mail folders. He looked like a spammer.
This was a problem. That week, Creavos was scheduled to send 500,000 emails per day on behalf of its clients.
