The city of Lorain, Ohio will participate in a new computerized network to notify residents of emergency situations.
On Dec. 1, Lorain City Council approved a memorandum of understanding to participate in the new program.
The Lorain County Commission set the goal to cooperate with the county’s various political subdivisions to implement the emergency notification system. In July the county announced its evaluation committee selected Inspiron Logistics to supply the software needed for the system for a three-year term.
