GrafTech International Ltd. has selected new locations for its company headquarters and its new Innovation & Technology Center.
In a Dec. 11 news release, the maker of graphite electrodes and other carbon-based products said it would move its global headquarters to Independence from Parma — its home for nearly 60 years. About 50 employees in areas such as finance and human resources will work there. The company said that cutting about 25% of its corporate functions is allowing it to move to a smaller, more cost-effective location.
