The first half of 2014 was relatively quiet when it came to manufacturers expanding their presences locally. There was a steady procession of announcements that companies had been awarded tax credits for their intentions to broaden their footprints in the Greater Cincinnati region, but most of them held off on ribbon cuttings until the second half of the year.
