Kent State University is laying the groundwork to make an impact in the wearable technology industry, which the university says is expected to become a $30 billion market within five years.
The school on Jan. 30-Feb. 1 will host what it calls a “Fashion/Tech Hackathon weekend,” led by Kent State’s Liquid Crystal Institute, its Fashion School and the interdisciplinary School of Digital Sciences.
