A coalition of economic development groups led by Dublin software company AWH plans to bring Columbus a chapter of an intense internship focusing on low-income workers.

Interns enter the i.c.stars program in Chicago with annual incomes averaging $9,000; some have only GEDs. Two years later, those who make it through average about $52,000 a year including benefits.
