Dublin Entrepreneurial Center expanding to clear space for more startups

The Dublin Entrepreneurial Center is adding larger offices for startups outgrowing their current space, thus making room to bring in new companies off the waiting list.

Metro Data Center LLC is leasing an additional 13 offices for the business incubator on the first floor of 565 Metro Place South next to the DEC’s training and event suite. That will allow five businesses to move down from the third-floor DEC space surrounding the data center in March, taking two to three of the new offices apiece.

“We’ve got a good number of businesses that are expanding,” said Chaz Freutel, who manages the DEC.
