The entrepreneurial scene on both sides of the Ohio River keeps growing, and a new crop of startups has graduated from one of the region’s top accelerators.
UpTech graduated its third class of seven portfolio companies on March 12. The Covington-based accelerator provides its companies with six months of mentoring, office space, access to service providers and customers, and $50,000 in equity investment. It’s backed by Duke Energy, PNC Bank, CBTS, the city of Covington and the state of Kentucky.
