Columbus Collaboratory picks Central Ohio IT veteran as CEO

The year-old data analytics and cybersecurity joint venture of seven large Central Ohio corporations has hired its first permanent CEO.

Columbus Collaboratory LLC named Matt Wald to run the organization. He has worked remotely from Columbus the past two years as vice president of corporate development for San Mateo, California-based IntelePeer Inc., where he evaluated potential acquisition targets and built business plans for new service lines. The Central Ohio native has been a founder, investor and board member for several Columbus-area technology companies.
