Faith-based startup accelerator OCEAN hosting Demo Day

IBM Corp. executive Colleen Arnold and Elias Roman – the co-founder of the music app Songza – will be keynote speakers at OCEAN’s first Demo Day.

The nation’s first faith-based startup accelerator is hosting the event April 29 at 1 p.m. at Crossroads Church at 3500 Madison Road in Oakley.

Demo Day is an opportunity for OCEAN’s 10 startup companies to showcase their ideas. OCEAN’s participating companies were selected from 150 applicants from around the world. Half of the applications the accelerator received were outside of Cincinnati. Twenty percent of the applicants were from outside the United States.
