Columbus Startup Week brings advice, help to entrepreneurs

From gray hair to purple hair, from suits to T-shirts and jeans, startup entrepreneurs and those interested in starting a business have been populating meeting venues across town this week, attending events associated with the inaugural Columbus Startup Week.
“It’s going well,” said Nick Seguin, a member of the board that is behind the event, Seattle-based nonprofit Up Global, whose efforts are focused on fostering entrepreneurship and strong communities.
The event is on track to attract 1,300 attendees, said Paul Haggard, director of client communication at financial-services company Fiserv and another organizer of the event.
