When Jill Van Beke graduated from Bexley High School and left Central Ohio about 25 years ago, she said, “A startup was a new fast food restaurant on Broad Street.”
An economic development professional and director of corporate engagement for Launch Tennessee, Van Beke returned for Columbus Startup Weekend to share how the statewide initiative is helping entrepreneurs. Just driving around downtown Columbus and the Arena District was amazing, she said.
