Software startup raises $760K, doubles client base

After its first school year of operation, software maker EduSourced Inc. has doubled its higher education clients and raised $760,000 toward a $1 million funding round –which is still open, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

The Columbus startup this month signed its ninth client to its cloud-based subscription software for managing student consulting projects, and sales for the fall semester are just getting started, founder David Comisford told me.

“A lot of top schools are evaluating our product,” he said.
