Cleveland always has been blessed with great tech events throughout the years.
I remember when I was getting my start in the tech industry in early 2000, the one tech-networking extravaganza that I always enjoyed attending was Community of Minds. Entrepreneurs with the next big dot.com idea would prance around whispering their current valuations to whoever would listen. Venture capitalists in their Brooks Brothers best would walk the floor quietly scouting local tech talent. Bankers from across the country would fly in (including representatives of Silicon Valley Bank) to attend the wild showcase of Cleveland’s tech scene hoping to get a slice of the investment action.
