Wil Schroter found out that virtual assistant startup Zirtual Inc. had shut down overnight the same way as other customers – with a Monday morning email.
By the end of Tuesday, he’d negotiated a deal to buy the Las Vegas startup and resume services under the portfolio of his Liberty Township-based Startups.co, a family of brands launched in February that help startups find funding, mentors, marketing and other services. Terms were not disclosed.
