I Tried It: Kapture’s audio-recording wristband

I’m not big into accessories. I wear a watch that was a college graduation gift and a wristband my girlfriend bought me in Istanbul. But for the past two weeks, I’ve been wearing a piece of technology developed by a startup here in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Kapture makes a wristband designed to look like a modern take on an old-school studio microphone. It is constantly listening and buffering, and when you tap its face twice, it saves the last 60 seconds of audio. Kapture’s app lets you edit and share it on the app or in other social networks.
