Quest’s fluorescent medical imaging technology receives FDA approval; company moving to new HQ

Quest Medical Imaging, a company rooted in the Netherlands that the city of Akron helped lure to the United States, has received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for its fluorescent medical imaging technology.
As such, Quest plans to grow and is moving out of Akron’s Global Business Accelerator, which launched in 2006, to a new downtown Akron headquarters at 39 E. Market Street. The company also plans to create 16 jobs this year, according to a news release from the city of Akron.
