SPR Therapeutics has received a $1.6 million grant that will help fund a study designed to figure out whether the company’s pain relief system might be able to help patients recovering from knee replacement surgery.
Today, those patients rely heavily on narcotics to dull the pain. The Highland Hills company hopes that its nerve stimulation system can provide an alternative and help patients leave the hospital sooner.
