Pitch U teaches the art of the investment pitch

The best way for an entrepreneur to improve his or her chances at receiving investment capital is to develop a lightening quick elevator pitch for investors.

This is, of course, more art than science but in the coming weeks any college student with entrepreneurial leanings can attend one of four upcoming events to test their ability to pitch their company or product to actual investors.

The events, called PITCH U, are sponsored by the Burton D. Morgan Foundation and will be at four regional universities: Kent State (Sept.19), Case Western (Oct. 3), John Carroll (Oct. 24) and Akron University (Nov. 7).
