When you ask about industries in Dayton, a handful come to mind: Healthcare, defense and manufacturing.
Some say manufacturing in Dayton has dwindled and maintains a negative trajectory since the fall of the auto industry. If you do some quick searches, you’ll find that Dayton remains a hotbed for manufacturing.
Dayton also happens to have one of the most cutting-edge research and development facilities in the United States at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, which has initiatives in place to offer the local economy vendor priority.
