Behind the deal: How Everything but the House raised $43M

Everything but the House is one of Cincinnati’s fastest-growing startups – it made the Inc. 5000 with 190 percent growth – and it has raised $43 million in two rounds. CEO Andy Nielsen gave some insight into how it raised that money and how Cincinnati played a role during Cintrifuse’s annual meeting.

EBTH, an online estate auction house, raised the city’s second-largest Series A round of funding– $13 million – in November of 2014, and quickly followed that up with a $30 million Series B round in August of this year. Both of those rounds were led or joined by Greycroft Partners in New York and Spark Capital in Boston.
