Cincinnati audio technology startup Lisnr has raised a $10 million round of funding led by one of the biggest tech firms in the United States.
The $10 million Series B round was led by Intel Ventures and joined by Mercury Fund, Jump Capital and R/GA Ventures.
“It’s a big, big step. In terms of what this investment means, it’s a pretty big Series B for a Cincinnati company,” Lisnr CEO and co-founder Rodney Williams told me. “As a company it’s going to allow us to expand into new verticals and grow bigger into markets we’re not into today.”
