Columbus’ tech buzz, talent attract Florida web developer – and other charms made it commit

Hashrocket, a fast-growing Web and mobile software development agency, has opened a fourth office in Columbus in large part because the former head of its Chicago office fell in love with the city.

The 8-year-old consulting and contract development company based in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, expanded to Chicago five years ago and opened in San Francisco earlier this year. Joshua Davey, who had led Chicago, moved to Columbus this July and has been working out of the Salt Mines co-working space in Clintonville. He’s looking to hire four senior-level developers within the next few months.
