Cincinnati’s startup scene ‘just keeps spinning’

The lightning-fast growth of Cincinnati, Ohio’s startup scene was on full display Thursday morning as local entrepreneurs and investors had a veritable festival to get connected and find deals.

The occasion was Cincinnati seed capital provider CincyTech’s annual Big Breakfast + Startup Showcase at the Duke Energy Convention Center. While it’s a chance for CincyTech to tout its accomplishments, the fast-growing event has mushroomed into a Lollapalooza of startups. More than 700 people, an all-time high, showed up at this year’s event.
