Kitchen incubator promotes innovation

For the first time in years, the smell of food wafted out of the cafeteria in the once abandoned middle school on Pinkerton Lane.

In 2011, this decrepit school building was repurposed as the Muskingum County Business Incubator, which used the many classrooms where startup entrepreneurs in the area can receive housing and guidance. But the cafeteria remained empty, a gaping hole that sought a purpose. Now that purpose has been found.
