Medical company picks Dayton region for new $45 million manufacturing center

Dayton will be the site of a new massive expansion for a global medical manufacturer.

San Diego-based NuVasive on Thursday afternoon announced it will close soon on the former Motoman facility in West Carrollton. In an investor call, company officials the plan is to invest roughly $45 million over the next two years for renovations and additions as well as new equipment.
