Ohio tech employment ranked in top 20 among states

Ohio’s tech industry employment ranked 16th in the country and employed 179,026 workers in 2015, according to nonprofit tech association CompTIA’s 2016 edition of its annual Cyberstates report.
Tech industry payroll in Ohio stood at $13.9 billion, while workers had an annual average salary of $77,753, 70 percent more than the average private-sector wage in the entire state, according to the report.
