Akron-area startups to pitch their ideas; audience at free NextOhio confab will choose winner

Two Akron-area women who created a mobile app allowing friends to exchange free baby-sitting services have won $10,000 as part of a venture competition in New York City.

Fresh from this win, the pair will give a five-minute business pitch about their app during a competition at 
NEXTOhio, a free tech startup conference returning to Akron on Thursday evening.

The two women, Audrey Wallace and Amy Husted, have dubbed their app Komae (www.mykomae.com). It is soon to be launched in a test phase.
