Columbus Startup Week kicks off today, 3,000 attendees in sight

An overflow crowd Monday heard Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther kick off the city’s second Startup Week, five days packed with panels and how-to seminars on entrepreneurship.

More than 2,000 have registered for free tickets, and attendance of 3,000 or more is in sight, said Jeff Lyttle, Columbus-based senior vice president for JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM), lead sponsor that spread Startup Week from its Western roots to more than half a dozen cities.
