Cincinnati made the greatest leap of any metropolitan area in the newest business rankings from the Kauffman Foundation.

Cincinnati-Middletown was ranked 16th of 40 metro areas in the 2016 Kauffman Index of Growth Entrepreneurship. It was the largest increase of any metro, climbing 19 places from its 2015 ranking of 35.
