ViewRay has hired a veteran of the life sciences industry to serve as its new chief financial officer.
Ajay Bansal will replace David Chandler, who has spent six years as CFO of the Oakwood Village company, which makes an MRI-guided radiation therapy system.
Bansal has spent nearly 30 years in the life sciences industry. He has served as CFO at five other life sciences companies since 2003, according to his LinkedIn profile. He helped them raise more than $1 billion in capital and led two initial public offerings, according to a news release from ViewRay. He’ll work out of ViewRay’s office in Mountain View, Calif.
