Youngstown-based America Makes, the National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Institute, announced that the University of Dayton Research Institute is receiving a Directed Project Opportunity with total funding of more than $10 million, according to a news release.

Officially, the project is looking at “Maturation of Advanced Manufacturing for Low-cost Sustainment,” the release stated.
