ABC’s “Shark Tank” has been a conduit for several up-and-coming businesses to achieve success, including a few Cincinnati companies, and it’s coming to town this weekend to give budding local entrepreneurs, specifically those from underrepresented communities, a shot at the show.
Values Partnerships, a company that works with foundations, nonprofits and private companies to help them diversify, is representing Shark Tank in a casting call for its eighth season at Cincinnati’s NAACP convention on Saturday, July 16. The Cincinnati stop is part of an effort to bring more diverse ideas and voices to the show, particularly minorities and other unrepresented communities, according to Values Partnership.
