Founder Story: OnShift
OnShift in Cleveland, Ohio, has developed technology to help long-term care facilities solve staffing problems and fill open shifts. With the click of a button, employees are notified of available shifts via text message, email, phone call or push notifications, and can opt in to fill those shifts immediately. This helps nursing facilities, assisted living buildings and retirement communities avoid understaffing and offer the best care possible. OnShift received funding from JumpStart and the North Coast Angel Fund, both northeast Ohio partners of the Ohio Third Frontier. This helped the company launch their platform and market their product.
