IT job training boot camp for low-income workers hires director, lands first client

The first Columbus session of an intense job-training boot camp to move low-income workers into IT jobs begins classes in November and has landed IGS Energy as its first client to commission what students build.

The i.c.stars chapter also has hired Executive Director Kimberly Gayle from Columbus-based Economic and Community Development Institute; she started Monday and heads for training in a few weeks to the nonprofit’s Chicago headquarters.
